We all carry stories that the body remembers, even if the mind goes quiet.

We all arrive at this moment carrying the stories that shaped us. Some of these stories are easily spoken, and some are hd in the body. Both matter.

As a Somatic Experiencing ® Practitioner and Registered Clinical Counsellor, I support people in reconnecting with themselves in ways that feels grounded, compassionate and honest. My work recognizes the healing is not always gentle. Sometimes the work is finding softening and settling- and sometimes it needs activation, strength , truth-telling, and accessing our true feelings. Both can be parts of coming home to yourself.

I strove to create a non-judgmental space where I can hear and understand your experiences, while also inviting reflection, clarity and meaningful change. Therapy is most helpful when we balance empathy and validation with truth-- when you can stay with what's hard without being overwhelmed, and also rise into the parts of you that have been quiet for too long.

I don't believe that we need to be "fixed". I believe we need room to understand ourselves, integrate what has shaped us, and move towards what feels authentic and possible - whether that path is tender , gritty, empowering or all of the above. â€‹

My approach is grounded in theories of attachment, trauma , and the nervous system. I draw from Somatic Experiencing ®,  Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE) , neurobiological, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused and Narrative therapies, and trauma-informed practices.

Above all , I believe healing is a process of returning to yourself, sometimes gently, sometimes fiercely, and discovering that you don't have to do it alone.
